We have a lot of plans to bring you value for money in the coming months. So without further ado here are the software improvements that we have on track for Quarter 2, 2015.

We are planning to have the first part of our cloud integration available by the end of this quarter. This first stage is a Cloud Database which allows access to your Calxa data from any computer with the Calxa application installed. Clients, bookkeepers and accountants will all be able to use the same budgets and reports.

The second phase will allow you to run your reports from your browser. The final stage, planned for later this year, will be the ability to access Calxa fully in the Cloud through your internet browser providing an alternative to the desktop application.

We are also adding Statutory Reports to the already extensive report library so that you can do all of your reporting within Calxa. We are including:

  • Profit & Loss
  • Balance Sheet
  • Trial Balance
  • Statement of Cashflow

You you will be able to bundle all of your client reports into one. Later we are planning to provide a scheduling function, so you can deliver your reports and updates at your desired interval (eg. monthly or quarterly) without having to open Calxa. You are sure to impress your clients with this function!

In the meantime, we are working on the integration with QuickBooks Online which should be available in time for next financial year. This is exciting as it will give you Calxa’s reporting tools for another group of your clients.

For this upcoming quarter, we will be adding country-specific Terminology that will recognise the geographic region of the accounting data imported. Terminology for tax and pensions will change based on your location. We are including terminology for New Zealand, North America, United Kingdom, Singapore & Malaysia to better support our international customers

Finally, the wheels are in motion for our interactive cloud dashboard, giving you the ability to customise your cloud application and choose the most important charts for your needs.
