And the Winner is…

Last week Calxa was voted in as the MYOB Partner Choice when it comes to add-on solutions. A nice piece of crystal was presented during the gala dinner at the National MYOB Partner conference in Alice Springs. More than 180 delegates attended the 2-day event to collaborate, learn and share.

For many it may have not come as a surprise as Calxa has been connecting to MYOB from its inception and has a long history with founders Mick and Alex both working as MYOB Certified Consultants in the early days. Nevertheless, surprised CEO Mick Devine was smiling: “This means a lot to us. It’s a real vote of confidence from the partner community.” MYOB Certified Consultants are accounting professionals that help small businesses and not-for-profits getting their accounts right. They are also the ones looking after Calxa customers onsite. Calxa has more than 130 partners around Australia and New Zealand, with many starting their careers as MYOB experts and transitioning over time to specialise in other areas like management reporting.

Tim Reed, MYOB CEO, echoed the importance of add-ons in helping their customers to better manage their businesses. “Our add-on partners expand and complement the functionality of MYOB’s products and Calxa stands out for its stellar work with small businesses, accountants and not-for-profits. Our warmest congratulations are going out to so many. Amongst the winners were Calxa Accredited Partners 2 Peas. Both Pam Pitt and Pam Madytianos were present to collect their ‘Top Sales for Victoria’ award. Whilst Marie Whitson from MyBiz Consulting, Calxa’s Adelaide based Accredited Partner, scooped a well-deserved Lifetime Achievement award. Long-time friend Carlos Rodriguez from Aspire Now swept up the ‘National Sales’ and ‘Partner of the Year’ awards.

Congratulations also go to add-on buddies Receipt Bank for ‘Best New Add-on’ and EzyCollect for ‘Fastest Growing Add-on’.
