Jaques Stanmore Financial Group Win Awards
We love to see our customers winning and Sydney-based accountants Jaques Stanmore have just had a couple of very special wins. They were named “The World’s Most Inspiring Accountants” in a UK book and also awarded for best Community Contribution by an Accounting Business at the 2016 Panalitix Annual Achievement Awards.
The awards recognise the culture of generosity that pervades the Jaques Stanmore practice and their belief in the responsibility of all of us to contribute to the community. Between 1% and 1.5% of the practice turnover is donated to the Jaques Stanmore Foundation which has so far distributed almost $1.4 million to more than 20 different causes.
Partners and other team members do honorary work for a number of not-for-profits, including serving on boards. They’ve utilised their business skills to assist refugees in Sulawesi set up businesses and provide ongoing support to a micro loan organisation there.
Over the years, we’ve met the team and we’re not totally surprised by these awards – they are well deserved!
