The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is coming and (almost) everyone involved in disability services is heading to Brisbane at the end of October for the New World Conference. We’ll be exhibiting and we’d love to catch up if you’re in town.
The program looks fascinating and we’re hoping to be able to catch more than a few of the sessions. There are some high-profile international speakers including Dr Jeffrey Cole from the Centre for the Digital Future in California and Microsoft’s Chief Accessiblity Officer, Robert Sinclair. Some of the local speakers will be just as interesting; especially those talking about their experiences with the NDIS in trial sites around the country.
There’s also a Master Class on Technology Capacity Building presented by our friends Anne Gawen from Connecting Up and Marcus Harvey of InfoXchange; that is sure to be full of insights on how you can make your transition smoother.
