Connecting Up Conference 18-20 May 2016 – Melbourne
Once again we’ll be supporting Connecting Up at their annual conference, held this year at the Hawthorn Arts Centre in Victoria on 19th – 20th May. The event is an opportunity to learn from the great speakers and to discuss with other delegates how Not-for-Profits are using technology to move their organisations forward. The Calxa team will join with MYOB to deliver a special Masterclass on Wednesday 18th.
Our own Mick Devine will share the stage with Chris McCormack from MYOB to bring some insight in a focused Finance Masterclass. They’ll provide you with expert tips on how to get the most out of MYOB and Calxa for your Not-for-Profit. Mick’s session will take you through setting up Calxa to produce your monthly management reports quickly and easily. If you’re transitioning to the NDIS, you’ll learn how to report on unit costs and to prepare board reports and grant acquittals. Calxa Users have been offered $100 off the session price – use coupon code ‘CALXAMYOB’.
Keynote speaker Laura Walker McDonald of SIMLab (USA) is presenting the Technology Masterclass with a focus on communications strategies and the tools to build a technology project plan. Ryan Jones’ Digital Marketing Masterclass is already sold out.
The conference content follows 3 main streams: Connect (Social media, communications, digital marketing), Innovate (Technology, Digital, ICT) and Change (Leadership, big ideas and strategy). That should provide plenty to stretch the brains of most attendees!
All the details are on the Connecting Up website. Do come and talk to us if you’re there!
And don’t forget the Awards Dinner on Thursday night where some of the best and brightest in the world of NFPs and technology will be honoured. Calxa has been selected as a finalist in the “Using Technology to Connect to the Community” section.
