Are you ready for the new Standards?
New Reporting Standards came into effect on 1 April 2015 in New Zealand. Registered charities must complete annual reporting to Charities Services involving an Annual Return and related financial statements. This means, for most not-for-profits, the first round of reports will need to be lodged by 30 September 2016. Up until now, there have been no minimum standards on the content or the quality of those financial statements.
The combination of MYOB and Calxa will make a big difference to many organisations in cutting through this red tape.
