The Transition Process

• Calxa Premier will do everything MoneyManager does – plus much more
• Take advantage of all the new advanced features, such as automatic recalculation of budgets, multiple budget versions, improved reporting and much more.

Automatic Free Upgrades

• Everyone on a current MoneyManager Support and Maintenance Plan at the time of the Calxa Premier release will automatically receive a free upgrade to Calxa Premier.

Purchasing an upgrade

• If you are not on a MoneyManager Support and Maintenance Plan you will be able to purchase Calxa Premier at a reduced price.

Timing

• Calxa Premier was released to existing MoneyManager on 1 July 2010.  The software was distributed to everyone at this time but there is no compulsion to upgrade immediately.  We encourage you to install Calxa Premier side by side with MoneyManager so that you can verify the results and see the improvements.

Upgrading your data

• All MoneyManager budgets can be imported to Calxa Premier – you won’t lose any data and you won’t need to re-key anything. Like MoneyManager, Calxa Premier will also link to your MYOB data file, bringing that information across more efficiently.
• The basic concepts of the applications are similar and we are working on special training videos and support notes to ensure users can find what they need easily. We are replicating the report list so you can produce the same information as before – but now with enhanced features and the ability to customise.
• Our plan is that existing users will be able to perform most functions as before, and then move on to the new features when they are ready.

The Learning Process

• We are working hard to ensure that the transition from MoneyManager to Calxa Premier is as simple as possible. The basic principles and functionality of Calxa Premier will be familiar to anyone who has used MoneyManager – and you can choose which of the new features you want to take advantage of.

Training

• We will be providing training in a number of formats – there will be classroom training in major cities, there will be webinars and there will be videos showing you how to perform important tasks.
